With more than thirty-five years of professional practice in the areas of property law, registration, cadastre, corporate, banking and notary. She has extensive experience in providing legal advice on property matters, through registry investigations, judicial and administrative proceedings, negotiations with state institutions and individuals. Maria Adilia has extensive experience in providing legal advice on property matters, through registry investigations, judicial and administrative proceedings, negotiations with state institutions and individuals. 

She has practiced law in litigation, provided corporate and business advice and has been a legal advisor to banks and financial institutions.

She has been a public official and has provided legal advice to financial institutions and private sector companies with Nicaraguan and foreign capital.

She has a Law Degree from the Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN) and is a Lawyer and Notary Public by the Supreme Court of Justice of Nicaragua. She has a postgraduate degree in Senior Management from the Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE) in Alajuela, Costa Rica. 

Prior to joining Signature Regional Law Firm he held the following positions: 

– Lawyer and Notary Public of the Central American Bank -Matagalpa Branch, (1981-1983);

– Member of the Board of Directors of RRQ, CONSULTORES, S.A., San José, Costa Rica (1985 -1991);

– Legal Advisor, National Public Sector Corporation, Managua, (1991-1992);

– Founding partner of the Law Firm RENE RUIZ QUEZADA & ASOCIADOS (LEGIS), 1997 until its incorporation to Signature Regional Law Firm.
