Is a lawyer and notary public, with more than twenty years of experience in the areas of banking law, commercial law, real estate registration,  corporate and company law. She has specialized studies at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, in the field of International Sales Contracts and Electronic Commerce. He is responsible for and has extensive experience in handling corporate aspects in the administration of corporate governance, banking contracts, and stock market operations. 

Marisol specializes in corporate governance and transactions, mergers and acquisitions, banking and regulatory advice, banking transactions and formalizations, and registration processes. 

She studied her undergraduate degree in San Salvador at Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado, and in 1997 she obtained a degree in Legal and Social Sciences. In the same year she obtained her authorization as a lawyer and notary public.

In 2004 she completed her postgraduate studies in “International Sales and Electronic Commerce” at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain.

Her professional activities include the following:

Prior to joining Signature Regional Law Firm she worked as a partner of CDM Abogados Consultores in the areas of Banking and Corporate Law. 

She worked as head of contracting at Scotiabank El Salvador, S.A., from March 1993 to December 2003, performing within her main responsibilities the coordination of the formalization processes of the Bank, commercial contracts of different nature, monitoring and registry follow-up in the registration of guarantees.

She also carried out judicial proxy activities as a special administrative and judicial proxy to follow up in executive commercial trials for the recovery of obligations and banking operations.
